Yaprun – a brand new attention scheme from Infinex & Kaito
Most attention and referrals campaigns are lazy and gameable. Yaprun is not that campaign.
Designed and built from scratch by Infinex, in collaboration with Kaito, Yaprun features a unique attribution engine that goes beyond surface-level engagement. It starts with Kaito’s mindshare data — things like yaps, smart followers, and mindshare – and layers on Infinex’s own proprietary user scoring system, which rewards high-quality content and genuine usage of the platform. It’s a richer system that makes it much harder to game with low-effort content or bots.
This creates a campaign that doesn’t just measure noise, it rewards real contributions, sustained effort, and the ability to attract sticky, high-value users.
As a result, the upside is real. We’re distributing over $6 million worth of Micro Patrons (µPatrons), representing 1% of the total supply of Patrons, across four seasons of Yaprun.
Season 0 is already done, and over $600,000 in µPatrons are now being distributed to early contributors, with top Yaprunners earning over $40k.
Season 1 started 15 May 2025, with over $900k in rewards up for grabs.
Are you ready?
Season Zero has already ended.
From 12 February until 14 May 2025, Yaprun ran in stealth, without fanfare or leaderboards, quietly tracking the most impactful content and contributions around Infinex on CT.
Now that it’s over, we’re distributing over $600,000 in µPatron rewards to the top 500 Season Zero Yaprunners, with the top five finishers earning between $10,000 – $40,000 each.
If you’ve been yapping over the last few months, check the leaderboard to see if you’ve earned rewards in Season Zero.
Season 1 Started 15 May 2025
We’re now ready to take Yaprun public, and over $900k in µPatrons are ready to be earned in Season 1. Scoring is already underway, and the leaderboard will go live at the end of the first week.
What are µPatrons?
Micro Patrons (µPatrons) are the reward mechanism at the core of Yaprun.
The value of a µPatron is indexed to the floor price of the Patron NFT:
1 µPatron = 1 / 1,000,000 of a Patron NFT
µPatrons are non-transferrable, can only be earned by participating in Yaprun, and are distributed at the end of each season based on your final rank on the leaderboard.
Yaprun Seasons and Rewards
Infinex has allocated 1% of the total Patron supply to Yaprun, worth over $6M at current prices.
80% of the Yaprun pool will be distributed to Yaprunners over four distinct seasons as follows:
Season | Dates | Allocation | Rewards (µP / $^) |
---|---|---|---|
Zero | 12 Feb – 14 May (ended) | 10% | 100M µP (~$600K) |
1 | 15 May – (TBD) | 15% | 150M µP (~$900K) |
2 | TBD | 25% | 250M µP (~$1.5M) |
3 | TBD | 30% | 300M µP (~$1.8M) |
The remaining 20% of the Yaprun pool is reserved for the Kaito community, including Genesis NFT holders and Kaito stakers. The first half of this will be distributed as an Infinex airdrop during Season 1. Look out for an announcement soon.
^Estimated based on the floor price of the Patron NFT at time of writing
How to Participate
If you’re helping build the Infinex narrative with signal and consistency, and driving high-quality, genuine usage of the platform, you’re eligible to earn rewards.
There are three ways to Yaprun:
- Yap about Infinex – connect your X account (the one that Kaito knows about), yap good about Infinex, and aim for a strong leaderboard position. Final rewards are based on your leaderboard rank at the end of the season.
- Refer real users – refer genuine users and maximize your score based on the quality of the usage they generate. Referrals will be available to Patrons and the top 500 Yaprunners from Season Zero.
- Yap and refer – do both, and you’ll maximize your score, rank, and ultimately your µPatron rewards.
Multipliers for Infinex Patrons
Infinex Patrons (that is, users who hold a Patron NFT in their Infinex account), get a score and earning multiplier from Season 1 onwards. That means Patrons score and rank higher for the same contributions. It pays to be a Patron.
How does scoring work?
You don’t accrue µPatrons as you go. Instead, your contribution gets scored each week, and this score determines your position on that week’s leaderboard.
Your weekly score and rank are calculated using:
- Kaito’s mindshare data (attention, smart followers, etc)
- Infinex’s user scoring system (based on genuine usage attributable to you)
- Manual review, to reward quality and nerf bots
Scores reflect both the quantity and quality of attention you generate and the value of the users that you help attract, directly or indirectly.
Keep in mind that your score (and therefore leaderboard rank) can go up and down week to week. Low quality content, sybiling, and bot-like behaviour is the fastest way to descend the leaderboard.
At the end of each season, your final leaderboard rank is determined by your aggregate performance across the season. Your final rank determines your share of µPatrons from that season’s reward pool. The higher your final rank, the more µPatrons you’ll earn.
How do I yap good?
First, connect your X account to your Infinex account so we can track your yapping, mindshare, and smart followers to generate a weekly score and rank.
Then yap away, and remember:
- Quality & consistency. You’ll get nowhere with low-effort spam. Aim for high-quality content that real humans engage with, and which drives organic discovery and usage of Infinex.
- You don’t need to shill. The best yappers sound like themselves. Add insight. Be useful. Be original.
- Spam won’t earn you µPatrons. Neither will reposting the same content repeatedly without creativity or trying to game the algorithm. Trust and tone matter.
Season Zero participants will soon get access to an exclusive Telegram channel where each day our team will drop raw ingredients: alpha, announcements, tweets, insights, visuals, videos, memes, threads. You’ll be able to use them, rework them and add your angle.
How do I refer real users?
If you’re a Patron or ranked in the top 500 in Season Zero, you’ll soon get access to your unique referral link.
When someone signs up using your link and starts using Infinex, you get a directly attributed score boost which further improves your leaderboard rank.
The better the user, the bigger the impact. Bots or sybils won’t count, and trying to game this part won’t work.
Ready to Yaprun?
Whether you’re writing threads, posting memes, or helping real users discover Infinex, Yaprun is how we reward you for showing up with substance.
