№ 61 - Private send with Incognito Mode

Feb 16, 2026

Now available in Infinex Labs: send with Incognito Mode

You can now send assets with enhanced privacy using Incognito Mode – a privacy-focused swap-and-send feature that breaks the direct on-chain link between sender and recipient wallets.

When sending tokens with Incognito Mode enabled, your transaction is routed through Houdini Swap, a privacy-preserving DEX aggregator. By swapping and routing through multiple exchanges it becomes significantly harder to trace the connection between your wallet and the destination address using standard on-chain analysis.

To try Incognito Mode, head to the Labs page, and look for the Private Send link.

How it works:

  1. Initiate a 'Private Send' from the Labs page
  2. Transaction routes through Houdini's infrastructure to a centralized exchange
  3. Tokens are swapped into an intermediate asset, potentially routed through another exchange
  4. Final swap into your chosen output token
  5. Tokens delivered to your specified destination address

The multi-step process obscures the direct wallet-to-wallet transfer that would normally be visible on-chain.

Things to know:

  • Transaction time: 10–50 minutes depending on liquidity and exchange processing times
  • Privacy vs. anonymity: This is privacy-enhancing infrastructure, not anonymity infrastructure. Houdini, participating exchanges, and Infinex may see partial transaction information. Sophisticated actors with sufficient resources may still be able to trace flows.
  • Compliance: Designed for lawful transactional privacy, not to facilitate illegal activity

Other improvements

Transaction processing screens around the app have been refreshed to be clearer and consistent.
