Roadmap

First, we established the platform, which required significant R&D and design work. Infinex spent almost twelve months in semi-stealth mode. By April 2024, we had finalised the architecture for our launch.

During Launch season, the platform is the product. We intend to educate our crypto-native audience about the many Infinex design choices while we delight them with incredible UX and fun incentives.

Infinex launches with three sequential campaigns:

1. Speedrun the Waitlist (ended) incentivised the initial user base to deposit assets into their accounts and to create a list of users for future integration rollouts.
2. Craterun (ended) distributed access to the Patron NFT and incentivised more assets to be deposited and more users accounts to be created.
3. Patron Sale (ended) will help to align the broader Infinex community around the vision of creating a unified UX layer for all chains and protocols.

In the later part of Launch Season, we are also releasing the first wave of onchain integrations, starting with table stakes features like swaps and bridging.

Having established our initial user and asset base and core account functionality, it will be time to start rolling out the required features to bring us to parity with centralized exchanges. This process will play out over three to six months, and the prioritization process for integrations is already beginning. This will also be where we expand on the number of supported networks, aiming to add several new networks each week in this season.

The feature roadmap is subject to community oversight and governance, so please join the conversation to help shape these priorities.

New users will arrive next year. By then we aim to be the platform that you recommend to your Uncle Jimmy, when he calls, fomoing over BTC. Infinex will be at feature parity with your favourite Centralized exchange by then, without the rug risk.

For the last decade and a half, each new wave of users has been onboarded via a CEX. This cycle, we intend for them to land onchain first. If we are successful, Infinex will prove that onchain is far better, cheaper and safer than CeFi. In this season, we bring millions of new users onchain.
