Infinex's new 'Swidge' feature brings free, effortless cross-chain swaps

This latest update introduces a new cross-chain swaps feature called 'Swidge' (swap and bridge), in addition to a new integrated Wallet, greatly expanded token support, and a new system architecture that unlocks faster integrations and new features.

Infinex Founder Kain Warwick said: "The goal is for Infinex to become an everyday app for all crypto users by making it easy to access the best incentives and features on every chain. Secure, multi-chain asset storage was our first step. Simple and free cross-chain swaps are the next big step towards this goal."

Simple and free cross-chain swaps

From today, all Infinex users can 'swidge' between supported assets, across networks, without the friction of gas or transaction signing. The platform currently supports more than 1,000 of the top assets across EVM and Solana networks, with the list of supported assets and networks set to grow in the coming weeks.

Infinex does not charge platform fees for swidge transactions, with users paying only network costs. Infinex Patrons who participated in Infinex' $67.70m Patron NFT sale pay no network costs on low-fee blockchains.

Swidge is one of the most seamless cross-chain swap experiences today. Infinex partnered with Jupiter Exchange, Mayan Swap, Relay and LiFi to deliver swidge, with more providers coming soon.

A Wallet and a Vault in one app

Infinex started by offering simple onboarding and secure asset storage. Today it's the only platform that offers both a daily-driver Wallet and an onchain-recoverable Vault, all in one app.

The new Wallet and platform architecture unlocks new integrations and faster feature development, starting with cross-chain swaps. This will be followed by spot, perps, lending, borrowing and other integrations in the coming months.

Wallet joins the existing Vault to make Infinex not only the safest place to store your cryptoassets, but also the easiest place to use them day-to-day.

Bitcoin, Litecoin, XRP, DOGE, and more

Infinex recently announced a partnership with NEAR Protocol to add first-class support for more chains including XRP, Bitcoin and more. Users will soon be able to store and swap between these assets in-app, representing a big step towards achieving feature parity with centralized exchanges, and providing a compelling onchain alternative to a major untapped segment of crypto users.
