Sunsetting XGP

Summary

• XGP will be sunset and replaced by Patrons and Crates.
• Transfer your XGP to your Infinex Account before 9 Nov 2025, 00:00 UTC
• After this date, XGP will be deprecated and become non-transferable, and have no function.
• XGP balances held in Infinex Accounts before the cutoff date will be converted into Patrons and/or Crates, based on the amount held.

Background

XGP was originally created to reward early community members who participated in Infinex governance and ecosystem activities.

The token was distributed across various user groups, including early governance participants, Discord and Twitter users, and holders of certain NFT collections such as Pudgy Penguins, Milady, Bit Bears, and Mad Lads.

A total supply of 630 million XGP was allocated, with a conversion mechanism allowing users to exchange 200,000 XGP for one Patron.

XGP was used to recognize early contributors and provide transparency in reward distribution. Over time, as the Infinex ecosystem matured and Patrons became the primary participation mechanism, XGP’s utility diminished. Today, XGP is no longer used for governance, incentives, or ecosystem rewards. Its function has been fully replaced by Patrons.

• Liquidity: Approximately $7,000 in the remaining Base pool

Conversion Details

All XGP held in Infinex Accounts before 9 Nov 2025, 00:00 UTC will be automatically converted according to the following structure:

• Patron Conversion:
  • Every 200,000 XGP will be converted into one Patron.
  • Example: 400,000 XGP = 2 Patrons.
  • Distribution of Patron NFTs will happen within a few days after the deadline.
• Crate Conversion:
  • Any remaining XGP (ie, less than 200,000) will be converted into Crates at a rate to be confirmed. More details about Crates and Infinex’s rewards campaign coming soon.

Required Action

1. Transfer all claimed XGP into your Infinex Account before 9 Nov 2025, 00:00 UTC.
2. After the cutoff date, XGP held outside Infinex will be non-transferable
3. Patrons and Crates will be distributed after the snapshot date.
