What is Craterun?
Starting on the 25th of June, you can stake deposits and earn crates. These crates can be opened within the Infinex App allowing you to farm access to the Patron NFT Sale and win various prizes including tokens from ecosystem partners. Each prize is distributed using verifiable onchain randomness, ensuring transparent distribution.
You will earn crates based on the total USD value of tokens at the time they are staked, along with any TVL boosts won from Speedrun the Waitlist (STW) or crates.
Opening Crates and Prizes
There are a fixed number of 5,000,000 crates, each with a 50% chance of containing a prize.
Patron Prizes
There are 3 different types of prizes that get you access to the Patron Sale:
- Patron NFT: an IOU redeemable for a Patron NFT.
- Patron Pass: gives access to the Patron Sale, with a guaranteed Patron NFT mint.
- Patron Ticket: gives access to the Patron Sale, with no guaranteed Patron NFT mint.

When can I deposit?
Anyone can deposit into Infinex and start earning crates, regardless of their participation in Speedrun the Waitlist (STW). You can begin staking your deposits starting from June 24th, and crate earning will commence from June 25th.
To reward users who deposited funds as part of STW and did not withdraw before the start of Craterun, they will receive a one-off 25% TVL boost as thanks.
How does the amnesty period work?
Infinex allows users to withdraw their deposited assets and re-deposit within the prescribed amnesty period of four hours to prevent losing any applied TVL boosts.
As an example, for STW participants who earn a 25% TVL boost, users may withdraw but must deposit an equivalent value of assets back into their account within four hours to prevent losing their boost.

How is the probability of prizes per crate determined?
The probability of Crates is determined by Pyth's VRF, which will generate a random number for each crate. The assigned crate ID will then be stored in a mapping for the Infinex backend to use, which will determine which prize has been won by each user.
How many crates do I earn?
Crates are distributed linearly and based on your percentage of TVL. For example, assuming Craterun runs for five weeks, ~142,857.14 crates will be distributed per day. You will receive crates based on the amount of your deposit relative to the total TVL.
When does Craterun end?
Craterun will run for 5 weeks until July 30th.
