About the Berachain launch

Berachain is an EVM-identical Layer 1 blockchain designed to align security and liquidity through its Proof of Liquidity (PoL) mechanism.

As part of its launch, the Berachain Foundation launched the $BERA token, which is the native gas and utility token that aligns network validators and users.

To learn more about the Berachain ecosystem, you can check out our first episode of the Alpha Leak community call where we hosted Janitooor and Berasearch to chat about all things Berachain and what the future may hold.

About the Unichain launch

Unichain is a fast, low-cost Layer 2 designed to enable seamless cross-chain liquidity. With 1-second block times, significantly lower gas fees than Ethereum L1, and a commitment to decentralization from the start, Unichain is built to power the next evolution of DeFi.

Developed by Uniswap Labs, it is part of the Optimism Superchain, enabling seamless cross-chain liquidity and efficient trade execution.
