Introduction

While BTC has ripped to new ATHs and we have finally seen the introduction of spot ETFs. The wild rise of memecoins over the last year has captivated the attention of CT. Platforms like pump.fun are seeing extraordinary activity, with 15,000 new memecoins being created daily.

Infinex has embraced memecoins with the launch of Memeglobal and is continuing this trend with MemeWars – a seven day, head-to-head battle schedule enabling users to participate in Craterun with even more volatility.

What is Meme Wars?

Starting on the 6th of July, Infinex is rolling out support for fourteen new memecoins over seven days. Meme Wars is a community battleground where each memecoin will compete head-to-head for the highest deposit value each day.

Given that memecoin communities are some of the most active in the crypto space, this competition is an exciting opportunity for Infinex to connect with these users. The goal is to harness the degeneracy of these communities, determine which is the strongest through coordinated action, and reward the winning community with a boost for the Craterun campaign (XIP-34).

How does it work?

Each Meme Wars battle lasts 24 hours and the memecoin with the most Total Value Locked (TVL) at the end of 24h “wins” the war.

Depositors of the winning memecoin will receive a 100% TVL boost during Craterun, allowing the winners to earn crates faster.

The 100% boost will be applied to users who deposited the winning memecoin during the 24 hour window, and will last until the end of Craterun. Deposits of the winning memecoin outside of this 24 hour window will not be eligible for the 100% boost. Withdrawals will result is a loss of boosts, subject to the four hour amnesty period.
